Romantic Sunset
Some two weeks ago the sunsets over Port Phillip Bay, Melbourne's major marine resource, have been more brilliantly colourful than usual.
So I hopped on to Elwood Beach hoping to get a more interesting foreground than at the North Road end of Brighton. However the only object of interest was a bench and after much patience, a young couple sat there enjoying the sunset. At that moment one of the many ships that ply the waters came into view and the pleasing conjunction of the moment with the sun's rays at their deepest red was frozen.
